Procedure
Utilizzo
Prima di iniziare ad utilizzare il dispositivo Beacon Mini,
verificarne l’integrità. Assicurarsi che il dispositivo Beacon Mini sia sempre in ambiente asciutto. Non utilizzare
il dispositivo Beacon Mini in ambienti a pericolo di esplosione. La presenza di gas o fumi infiammabili costituisce
un grave pericolo per la sicurezza.
Seven S.p.A. declina ogni e qualsiasi responsabilità
qualora il dispositivo Beacon Mini venga utilizzato in
modalità e ambienti incompatibili ai fini dell’integrità del
prodotto, della sicurezza e del funzionamento.
Attivazione del dispositivo Beacon Mini
Estrarre la linguetta dal dispositivo. Una volta estratta la
linguetta, il Beacon Mini è attivo.
Associazione del dispositivo Beacon Mini – Smartphone
1. Scaricare l’applicazione The Double dall’ App Store℠
oppure da Google Play™ Store (Google Play™ è un marchio registrato di proprietà di Google Inc.) oppure collegarsi direttamente allo store tramite il QRCode stampato
sullo zaino e sul cartellino del prodotto. Al primo lancio,
l’applicazione chiederà di registrarsi con un nickname
(può essere utilizzato il login di Facebook o di Instagram
oppure un indirizzo e-mail).
2. Una volta avvenuta la registrazione, l’applicazione richiederà di associare lo zaino: assicurarsi che la modalità
Bluetooth® dello smartphone sia attiva, aprire il taschino
dello spallaccio, estrarre il Beacon Mini e inquadrare con
la telecamera dello smartphone il QRCode stampato sul
retro del dispositivo. Associazione eseguita! Inserire il
Beacon Mini nel taschino dello spallaccio.
3. Se per caso si è risposto “no” alla richiesta di registrazione, andare nel menu “impostazioni” (in alto a destra
con l’icona della rotella) e scegliere l’opzione “Associa il
tuo zaino”. Ripetere l’operazione indicata al punto 2 di
questo paragrafo.
4. L’associazione dello smartphone al dispositivo Beacon
Mini è univoca e può essere effettuata una sola volta, nel
caso in cui si dovesse associare un nuovo smartphone
in sostituzione di quello precedentemente sincronizzato,
inviare un e-mail all’indirizzo:
[email protected]
Sostituzione della batteria
Prima di procedere alla sostituzione della batteria, leggere attentamente tutte le indicazioni generali di gestione,
utilizzo e smaltimento delle batterie, contenute nel successivo capitolo “Sicurezza”.
Importante: il dispositivo Beacon Mini utilizza una batteria a bottone CR2450. Non utilizzare nessun altro tipo di
batteria. Batterie di tipo diverso potrebbero danneggiare
irrimediabilmente il dispositivo.
La sostituzione della batteria deve essere effettuata da
una persona adulta.
Per la sostituzione della batteria è richiesto un cacciavite
a croce.
La procedura di sostituzione della batteria è indicata di
seguito:
1. svitare le due viti sul tappo posteriore del contenitore;
2. rimuovere il circuito dal suo alloggiamento all’interno
del contenitore;
3. estrarre la batteria scarica dal portabatteria;
4. inserire la nuova batteria nel portabatteria. Fare attenzione alla polarità della batteria: il segno “+” riportato
sulla batteria deve risultare rivolto verso l’alto. Non cortocircuitare i terminali della batteria. Una volta inserita
la nuova batteria, il Beacon Mini è di nuovo attivo;
5. inserire il circuito nel suo alloggiamento: all’interno
del contenitore sono presenti due spine plastiche che
coincidono con due fori presenti sul circuito;
6. chiudere il contenitore avvitando le due viti sul tappo
posteriore.
Manutenzione
Rimuovere il dispositivo dallo zaino prima di effettuare le
operazioni di lavaggio.
Sicurezza
Le presenti avvertenze sono parti integranti ed essenziali
del prodotto (dispositivo) Beacon Mini e devono essere
consegnate all’utilizzatore. Leggerle attentamente in
quanto forniscono importanti indicazioni riguardanti
l’installazione, l’uso e la manutenzione.
Il dispositivo Beacon Mini deve essere destinato all’uso
per il quale è stato espressamente concepito. Ogni altro
utilizzo è da considerarsi improprio e quindi pericoloso. Il
dispositivo Beacon Mini è un dispositivo wireless. Si prega di farne attenzione all’uso, nel caso di portatori di pacemaker o di altri dispositivi medici elettronici salva-vita,
in quanto trasmette onde radio che possono interferire
con il corretto funzionamento di tali dispositivi.
La società Seven S.p.A. declina ogni responsabilità per
danni causati da un non adeguato utilizzo del dispositivo
e dalla mancata osservanza delle avvertenze riportate
nel presente documento.
Batterie
Il dispositivo Beacon Mini è alimentato da batteria
CR2450 al Litio Biossido di Manganese (LiMnO2).
Non alimentare il dispositivo con batterie di altro tipo.
L’uso di batterie diverse è potenzialmente pericoloso.
La sostituzione della batteria deve essere effettuata da
una persona adulta.
Si raccomanda di seguire attentamente le seguenti precauzioni:
• Non disassemblare, perforare o danneggiare la batteria.
• Non ricaricare la batteria.
• Non provocare una scarica forzata della batteria.
• Non inserire la batteria nell’apposito portabatterie con
i contatti positivo e negativo invertiti.
• Non gettare la batteria sul fuoco.
• Non porre la batteria nelle seguenti condizioni ambientali: in prossimità di fonti di calore, esposta direttamente
al sole, ad alte temperature, ad elevati valori di umidità,
a contatto con acqua.
• Non maneggiare la batteria con oggetti metallici (quali
ad esempio pinze, forbici, ...). Non appoggiare la batteria
su piani metallici. In generale, evitare che i contatti metallici della batteria entrino in contatto con altri oggetti
di metallo, incluse altre batterie. Ciò potrebbe causare
cortocircuiti, danneggiare la batteria e causare surriscaldamento o esplosione.
• Nel caso in cui la batteria venga conservata o buttata, assicurarsi che sia coperta singolarmente con nastro
isolante.
• Non introdurre la batteria in bocca. Se la batteria (o
il liquido in essa contenuto) viene ingerita, contattare
immediatamente un medico. La batteria ingerita deve
essere immediatamente rimossa. L’ingestione della
batteria o del liquido in essa contenuto causa danni
irreversibili all’apparato digerente, nell’arco di due ore,
fino alla morte.
• La batteria disassemblata, perforata o danneggiata può
perdere il proprio contenuto:
◦ Nel caso in cui il contenuto della batteria entri in
contatto con gli occhi, sciacquare immediatamente
con abbondante acqua corrente per almeno 30 minuti. Contattare immediatamente un medico.
◦ Nel caso in cui il contenuto della batteria entri in
contatto con la pelle, sciacquare immediatamente
con abbondante acqua corrente per almeno 15 minuti. Se l’irritazione o il dolore persistono contattare
un medico.
◦ Il contenuto della batteria può irritare le vie respiratorie. Uscire immediatamente all’aria aperta. Se
l’irritazione persiste contattare un medico.
• Non lasciare, in nessun caso, la batteria alla portata
dei bambini.
Smaltimento rifiuto
In attuazione alle Direttive 2011/65/EU e 2012/19/CE,
relative alla riduzione dell’uso di sostanze pericolose
nelle apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche, nonché allo smaltimento dei rifiuti.
Il simbolo del cassonetto barrato riportato sull’apparecchiatura o sulla sua confezione indica che il prodotto
alla fine della propria vita utile deve essere raccolto se-
paratamente dagli altri rifiuti. L’utente dovrà, pertanto,
conferire l’apparecchiatura giunta a fine vita agli idonei
centri di raccolta differenziata dei rifiuti elettronici ed
elettrotecnici, oppure riconsegnarla al rivenditore al momento dell’acquisto di una nuova apparecchiatura di tipo
equivalente, in ragione di uno a uno. L’adeguata raccolta
differenziata per l’avvio successivo dell’apparecchiatura
dismessa al riciclaggio, al trattamento e allo smaltimento ambientalmente compatibile contribuisce ad evitare
possibili effetti negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute e
favorisce il reimpiego e/o riciclo dei materiali di cui è
composta l’apparecchiatura. Lo smaltimento abusivo del
prodotto da parte dell’utente comporta l’applicazione
delle sanzioni amministrative di cui alla corrente normativa di legge. Per maggiori informazioni relative ai sistemi
di raccolta contattare le autorità locali competenti.
In attuazione alla Direttiva 2006/66/CE, relativa alla
riduzione dell’uso di sostanze pericolose nelle batterie,
nonché allo smaltimento delle stesse.
Il simbolo del cassonetto barrato riportato sull’apparecchiatura o sulla sua confezione indica che le batterie non
devono essere smaltite insieme al resto dei comuni rifiuti domestici, in quanto potrebbero contenere sostanze
potenzialmente dannose per l’ambiente e la salute. Rimuovere la batteria scarica dall’apparecchio e conferirla
negli appositi punti di raccolta.
Esonero da responsabilità
La presente scheda di sicurezza è intesa a fornire un
breve riepilogo delle nostre conoscenze e una consulenza in merito all’uso del dispositivo Beacon Mini e
delle sue parti, inclusa la batteria. Le informazioni in essa
contenute sono state fornite da fonti che Seven S.p.A.
considera affidabili e sono precise al meglio delle conoscenze dell’azienda. La presente scheda non intende
essere un documento esauriente sulle normative mondiali di definizione dei pericoli. Le informazioni vengono
fornite in buona fede. Ogni utente del materiale dovrà
valutare le condizioni di impiego e definire i meccanismi
di protezione adeguati per impedire l’esposizione delle
persone, danni materiali o la diffusione nell’ambiente.

lesioni arrecate al destinatario o a terze persone o per
eventuali danni materiali derivanti dall’utilizzo errato del
dispositivo e delle sue parti.
Condizioni di garanzia
La società Seven S.p.A. garantisce i suoi prodotti per un
periodo di 24 mesi dalla data di acquisto. L’acquisto deve
essere provato da un documento fiscalmente valido
rilasciato dal rivenditore (es. scontrino fiscale, fattura).
Inoltre, il prodotto difettoso deve essere accompagnato
da una descrizione del tipo di malfunzionamento. La garanzia copre vizi di conformità e/o difetti di produzione.
Seven S.p.A. può, a suo insindacabile giudizio, sostituire
il prodotto difettoso oppure provvedere alla sua riparazione. I costi per la spedizione del prodotto a Seven
S.p.A. sono a carico dell’acquirente. Nel caso di effettivo
riscontro di vizi di conformità e/o difetti di produzione i
costi di spedizione del prodotto sono a carico di Seven
S.p.A. Nel caso di mancato riscontro di vizi di conformità
e/o difetti di produzione o nel caso in cui i difetti funzionali lamentati dall’utente non siano riscontrati come tali
in fase di verifica da parte di Seven S.p.A., tutti i costi,
incluse la riparazione o sostituzione del prodotto e la sua
successiva spedizione, saranno a carico dell’acquirente.
Questa garanzia non copre i seguenti casi:
1. prodotto usato o immagazzinato in modo improprio;
2. danni causati da acqua o umidità;
3. danni fisici e/o elettrici dovuti a cause di intenzionalità, negligenza o accidentalità;
4. danni causati da forza maggiore (es. eventi atmosferici, disturbi elettrici, ...);
5. evidente stato di incuria del prodotto;
6. danni causati da modifiche meccaniche, elettriche,
elettroniche o del software apportate al prodotto.
Inoltre la garanzia non copre gli accessori, quali le batterie.
La sostituzione delle batterie può essere effettuata seguendo le istruzioni del manuale d’uso. Sebbene la sostituzione sia un’operazione relativamente semplice, deve
essere posta particolare attenzione ai seguenti aspetti:
1. polarità della batteria: la batteria deve essere inserita
con la corretta polarità;
2. manipolazione dei circuiti: è preferibile toccare i circuiti lungo i bordi per evitare danneggiamenti dovuti a
frizioni meccaniche o scariche elettrostatiche.
Se il prodotto non è manipolato correttamente o viene
danneggiato durante la sostituzione della batteria, Seven
S.p.A. non è in grado di garantirne la successiva corretta
funzionalità. In nessun caso Seven S.p.A. potrà essere
ritenuta responsabile di danni accidentali o indiretti,
inclusi qualsiasi perdita di profitti economici o altri danni
derivanti dall’uso dei suoi prodotti.

Utilization
Before you start using the Beacon Mini device, verify
that it is undamaged. Make sure the Beacon Mini device
is always kept in a dry environment. Do not use the Beacon Mini device in potentially explosive atmospheres.
The presence of flammable gas or fumes is a serious
safety hazard.
Seven S.p.A. disclaims any and all liability if the Beacon Mini device is used in modes and environments
incompatible for keeping the product’s intact, safe and
in operation.
Activating the Beacon Mini
Pull the tab out of the device. Once the tab has been
extracted, the Beacon Mini is active.
Using the Beacon Mini device with a Smartphone
1. Download the application The Double from the The
App Store℠ or from Google Play™ Store (Google Play™
is a registered trademark owned by Google Inc.) or
connect directly to the store by the QRCode printed on
the pack and on the tag of the product. At first launch,
the application will ask you to register with a nickname
(you can use your Facebook or Instagram login name,
or an e-mail).
2. After successful registration, the application will
prompt you to link the backpack: Make sure the Bluetooth® mode of the smartphone is enabled, open the
shoulder pocket, pull out the Beacon Mini and point with
the camera of the smartphone at the QRCode printed
on the back of the device. The link has been performed!
Insert the Beacon Mini in the shoulder pocket.
3. If by chance you have answered “no” to the request to register, go to the menu “Settings” (top right
with the wheel icon) and choose the option “Link your
backpack.” Repeat the procedure given in paragraph 2
of this section.
4. The linking of the smartphone to the Beacon Mini
device is unique and can be done only once, in case you
were to associate a new smartphone to replace the one
previously synchronized, send an e-mail to:

Replacing the battery
Before replacing the battery, carefully read all the general indications of the handling, use and disposal of batteries, contained in the next chapter “Safety”.
Important: the Beacon Mini device uses a CR2450 button
battery. Do not use any other type of battery. Batteries of
a different kind may destroy the device.
Battery replacement must be performed by an adult.
Replacing the battery requires a Phillips screwdriver.
The procedure for changing the battery is shown below:
1. Unscrew the two screws on the rear cap of the container;
2. remove the circuit from its housing inside the container;
3. remove old battery from the battery holder;
4. insert the new battery in the battery holder; Note the
polarity of the battery: the “+” sign printed on the battery should be facing up. Do not short-circuit the battery
terminals. Once inserted the new battery, the beacon
is active again;
5. enter the circuit in its housing: inside the container
there are two plastic plugs that coincide with the two
holes on the circuit;
6. close the enclosure and tighten the two screws on
the rear cap.
Maintenance
Remove the device from the bag before carrying out the
washing operations.
Safety
These warnings are an integral and essential part of the
Beacon Mini product (device) and must be delivered to
the user. Read them carefully as they contain important
information regarding the installation, use and maintenance.
The Beacon Mini device must be intended for use for
which it was designed. Any other use is considered
improper and therefore dangerous. The Beacon Mini
device is a wireless device. Please be attentive in its use,
in the case of a pacemaker or other electronic medical
life-saving devices, as it transmits radio waves that can
interfere with the proper functioning of these devices.
The company Seven S.p.A. disclaims any liability for damages caused by an inadequate use of the device and
the failure to observe the information provided herein.
Batteries
The device is powered by Beacon Mini Battery CR2450
Lithium Manganese Dioxide (LiMnO2).
Do not power the device with other batteries. The use of
other batteries is potentially dangerous.
Battery replacement must be performed by an adult.
It is recommended to observe the following precautions:
• Do not disassemble, puncture or damage the battery.
• Do not recharge the battery.
• Do not cause a forced depletion of the battery.
• Do not insert the battery into the battery holder with
the positive and negative contacts reversed.
• Do not throw the battery in fire.
• Do not place the battery in the following environmental conditions: in the vicinity of heat sources, exposed
to direct sunlight, high temperatures, high humidity, in
contact with water.
• Do not handle the battery with metal objects (such as
forceps, scissors, ...). Do not place the battery on metal
surfaces. In general, avoid the metal contacts on the battery from coming into contact with other metal objects,
including other batteries. This could cause a short circuit,
damage the battery and cause overheating or explosion.
• If the battery is stored or thrown away, make sure it is
covered individually with insulating tape.
• Do not put the battery in your mouth. If the battery (or
the liquid contained in it) is ingested, immediately contact a doctor. The ingested battery must be immediately
removed. Swallowing the battery or the liquid contained
in it cause irreversible damage to the digestive system,
within two hours, including possible death.
• The disassembled, perforated or damaged battery can
lose its contents:
◦ If battery contents come into contact with eyes,
rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 30
minutes. Contact a physician immediately.
◦ If battery contents come into contact with skin,
rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least
15 minutes. If irritation or pain persists, contact a
physician.
◦ The content of the battery can cause respiratory
irritation. Exit to fresh air immediately. If irritation
persists, contact a physician.
• Keep, under any circumstances, the battery away from
children.
Waste disposal
In implementing the Directives 2011/65 / EU and
2012/19 / EC on the restriction of the use of hazardous
substances in electrical and electronic equipment and
the disposal of waste
The crossed bin symbol on the appliance or its packaging
indicates that at the end of the product’s life, it must be
collected separately from other waste. The user must,
therefore, take the remote control to an authorized disposal center for collection of electronic and electrical
waste, or return it to the dealer when purchasing a new
similar appliance, on a one to one basis. Appropriate separate collection for the subsequent forwarding of the
product sent for recycling, treatment and environmentally compatible disposal helps to prevent negative environmental and health effects and promotes the reuse
and/or recycling of materials making up the equipment.
Illegal dumping of the product by the user entails the application of administrative sanctions in the current provisions of law. For more information about the collection
systems, contact your local authorities.
In implementing Directive 2006/66/EC on the reduced
use of hazardous substances in batteries and the disposal of the same.
The crossed bin symbol on the appliance or its packaging
indicates that the batteries must not be disposed of with
the rest of the household waste, as they may contain
substances that are potentially harmful to the environment and health. Remove the old battery from the
device and turn it in at the appropriate collection points.
Disclaimer
This MSDS is intended to provide a brief summary of our
knowledge and some guidance regarding the use of the
device Beacon Mini and its parts, including the battery.
The information contained herein has been provided by
sources that Seven SpA considers to be dependable and
is accurate to the best knowledge of the company. This
sheet is not intended to be an inclusive document on
worldwide hazard communication regulations. The information is provided in good faith. Each user of this material needs to evaluate the conditions of use and define
the appropriate protective mechanisms to prevent the
exposure of persons, property damage or release to the
environment. Seven S.p.A. assumes no responsibility for
injury to the recipient or third persons, or for any damages resulting from misuse of the device and its parts.
Warranty conditions
The company Seven S.p.A. guarantees its products
for a period of 24 months from date of purchase. The
purchase must be verified with a valid receipt issued by
the dealer (ie. Sales receipt, invoice). In addition, the
defective product must be accompanied by a description
of the type of malfunction. The warranty covers defects
of conformity and/or manufacturing defects.
Seven S.p.A. may, at its sole discretion, replace the defective product or have it repaired. The costs for shipping the product to Seven SpA shall be borne by the
buyer. In case of an effective detection of defeccts of
conformity and / or manufacturing defects the cost of
shipping the product are borne by Seven SpA. In case of
non-detection of defects of conformity and / or manufacturing defects or if the functional defects complained
of by the user are not detected as such under verification
by Seven SpA, all costs, including the repair or replacement of the product and its subsequent delivery, will be
borne by the buyer.
This warranty does not cover the following cases:
1. Product used or stored improperly;
2. damage caused by water or moisture;
3. physical and / or electrical related to intentional, negligent or accidental acts;
4. damage caused by force majeure (eg. weather, electrical noise, ...);
5. a state of neglect of the product;
6. Damage caused by mechanical, electrical, electronic
or software changes made to the product.
Moreover, the warranty does not cover accessories, such
as batteries.
Battery replacement can be done by following the
instructions in the user manual. Although the replacement is a relatively simple operation, there must be paid
particular attention to the following aspects:
1. polarity of the battery: the battery must be inserted
with the correct polarity;
2. Manipulation of the circuits: it is preferable to touch
the circuits along the edges to prevent damage due to
mechanical friction or static discharge.
If the product is not handled properly or is damaged
during battery replacement, Seven SpA is not able to ensure its correct functionality. In no event Seven S.p.A. be
liable for incidental or consequential damages, including
any lost profits or other economic damages resulting
from the use of its products.
