Nel 1972, Maurizio Zannier, Presidente e fondatore della società
apre ad Edolo (BS) in Valle Camonica, un laboratorio specializzato nella lavorazione
di abbigliamento intimo. É il primo nucleo dell’attuale Cotonella.

OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100
OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 è una prestigiosa certificazione che viene concessa solo alle
aziende che realizzano tutti i loro prodotti nel pieno rispetto degli standard a garanzia
che tutti i prodotti siano assolutamente privi di sostanze nocive alla salute.
AB 100
AB 100 è un marchio di esclusiva proprietà di Cotonella, registrato in Italia e in tutti i Paesi
dell’Unione Europea. L’acronimo significa ANTI BATTERICO 100 e più lavaggi e identifica un
tessuto di cotone trattato con additivi antibatterici in grado di garantire una prolungata azione
igienica che conferisce freschezza e benessere.
ISO 9001
Cotonella è stata una delle prime aziende di abbigliamento intimo italiane ad ottenere
la prestigiosa certificazione UNI EN ISO 9001, che viene concessa solo alle aziende che
in modo permanente perseguono due obiettivi essenziali:
1) un miglioramento continuo;
2) la massima soddisfazione del cliente.
TESTATO IN LABORATORIO
In conformità alle normative imposte dalla certificazione UNI EN 10 9001, tutti i
materiali che compongono i prodotti Cotonella vengono sottoposti a ben
54 rigorosi controlli.

In 1972, Maurizio Zannier, President and founder of the company,
opened a laboratory specialising in manufacturing underwear in Edolo (BS) in the
Valle Camonica area. That was the first nucleus of what is now as Cotonella.
In 1989, by means of consolidation of company know-how, ongoing investments in research

OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100
OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 is a prestigious certification that is only awarded to
companies that manufacture all their products in full compliance with the standards
guaranteeing that all products are absolutely free from any substances that are harmful
to health.
AB 100
AB 100 is a brand owned exclusively by Cotonella, registered in Italy and all other European
Union countries. The acronym stands for ANTI BACTERIAL 100 or more washes and identifies
a cotton fabric treated with antibacterial additive that guarantees long-lasting hygienic action,
ensuring freshness and well-being.
ISO 9001
Cotonella was one of the first Italian underwear companies to obtain the prestigious
UNI EN ISO 9001 certification, which is only granted to companies that pursue two
essential objectives on an ongoing basis:
1) ongoing improvement;
2) maximum customer satisfaction.
LABORATORY TESTED
In compliance with the regulations imposed by the UNI EN 10 9001 certification, all the
