Lynn Kinnear architetto paesaggista, fondatrice dello studio Kinnear Landscape Architects (KLA), vanta una
comprovata esperienza in progetti innovativi che combinano Arte, Architettura e Paesaggio. Autrice del progetto urbano della “Walsall Art Gallery” con l’artista Richard Wentworth e lo studio Caruso St. John, ha firmato il famoso “Normand Park”, vincitore anch’esso di numerosi premi. Attualmente dirige un vasto gruppo interdisciplinare come capo progetto del “Walthamstow Wetlands” a nord di Londra, ed è consulente presso la
All London Green Grid (ALGG) per l’area delle Pianure Londinesi, presso CABE, Design for London e il Lewisham
Design Review Panel.
Lynn Kinnear landscape architect, founder of the Kinnear Landscape Architects studio (KLA), has a proven track record in innovative projects that combine art, architecture and landscape. Author of the urban project of “Walsall Art Gallery” with the artist Richard Wentworth and Caruso St. John studio, signed the famous
“Normand Park”, which is also the winner of numerous awards. She currently leads a large interdisciplinary
team as project leader of “Walthamstow Wetlands” north of London, and has provided guidance for the All
London Green Grid, for London’s Downlands area, providing a strategic approach to environmental and sustainability issues for the city, and has taken on design advisory roles within CABE, Design for London and the
Lewisham Design Review Panel.

TEMA Le arti visive attraverso e oltre i confini professionali, creano sfide e opportunità per le politiche pubbliche, contribuendo all’istruzione, alla riduzione della criminalità e al rinforzo dell’identità sociale. Negli ultimi anni hanno contribuito a cambiare l’immagine di paesi e città e, stimolando il turismo nazionale ed estero, possono ancora guidare il senso della trasformazione: possono educare, generare competenze e fiducia,
mettere in connessione le persone e cementare nuove partnership. Così un’installazione visiva con significato
simbolico per il paesaggio può trasformare comportamenti e aspettative dei cittadini. In mostra diversi progetti in cui le arti visive e le attività culturali sono strumenti strategici per innescare trasformazioni condivise e
raggiungere il consenso sociale a livello locale.
ITEM The visual arts through and beyond professional boundaries, creating challenges and opportunities for
public policy, contributing to education, crime reduction and reinforcement of social identity. In recent years
have helped to change the image of towns and cities and by stimulating the domestic and foreign tourism,
they can still drive the sense of transformation: can educate, generate skills and confidence, to link people
and cementing new partnerships. So a visual installation with symbolic significance for the landscape can
transform attitudes and expectations of citizens. Showcasing various projects in which the visual arts and
cultural activities are strategic tools to trigger transformations shared and achieve social consensus at the local level.
