Recovery and recycling of used industrial solvents
Aims and summary of the project
The aim of the consultancy is the development of an innovative
process involving new solutions and methods to achieve recovery and
recycling of used industrial solvents.
Planned Activity
The consultancy will be organised into the
following macro-activities:
a)
study
and
definition
of
the
specifications for the use of a thin film
evaporator;
b)
definition of an experimental plan for
the description of this tool and for the
process of recovery of special kinds of
solvents;
c)
study and development of plant
design combining the process specifications
with a good level of energy efficiency and contained set-up costs.
The expected result is the development of new processes with optimisation of
efficiency and productivity and reduced environmental impact, for the recovery
and recycling of used solvents.
