THE COMPANY
L
Leopoldo Rivolta established Rivolta Carmignani back in 1867 with the goal of offering
room and table linens of high quality and Italian style to the best Hotels, Restaurants and
Cruise Lines in the world.
The fifth generation of the Rivolta family carries on today the original vision of its
founder by continuously renewing styles, textures and patterns while always remaining loyal
to its founder’s motto “ In the work we trust “.
The perseverance and reliability of our
company combined with a unique know
how for longevity, state-of-the-art production methods and international experience,
guarantee a brilliant business in more than 63
countries. Thanks to an exclusive mix of luxury
and tradition, innovation and perfectionism,
excellence of raw materials and dedicated labor together with an incomparable expertise
and aesthetic approach, the phrase Made in
Italy is synonymous with Rivolta Carmignani.
Since its origins the company’s headquarters and manufacturing is located in Macherio,
Italy a few kilometers from Milano. It includes
departments of Design, Worping, Weaving,
Quality Control, Bleaching, Finishing, Cutting & Hemming, Embroidery and Packaging.
The production cycle is therefore completely
vertical from the thread to the finished product and under the expert supervision of Aldo
and Matteo Rivolta.

La quinta generazione dei Rivolta prosegue
oggi il lavoro del fondatore rinnovando continuamente gusto, stili, esperienze materiche e
proposte grafiche ma rimanendo sempre fedele
al motto del fondatore: “Fede nel lavoro”.
La tenacia e l’operosità di questa azienda
di famiglia unite ad un know how unico per

La sede dell’azienda rimane ancor oggi a
Macherio, a pochi chilometri da Milano, dove
sorge la fabbrica storica con i reparti di progettazione, orditura, tessitura, controllo qualità, candeggio, finissaggio, taglio, confezione,
ricamo e spedizione. Il ciclo di produzione è
quindi completamente verticale, dal filato al
prodotto finito, sotto la stretta sorveglianza di
Aldo e Matteo Rivolta.

of design, Rivolta Carmignani makes available its own Atelier where is possible to create
together with the customer’s chief designer a
new concept using all components of the project, from the thread to the textures, to the interwoven or embroidered custom-tailoring, to
the various finishing possibilities.

altissima qualità ma anche e soprattutto un’assistenza completa durante tutto il processo di
allestimento del proprio servizio di biancheria.
Con oltre 10.000 clienti al mondo, in ciascuna delle cinque Collezioni realizzate (Letto, Bagno, Tavola, Spa, Banqueting) l’azienda
riesce infatti a condensare annualmente le
principali tendenze mondiali in termini di materiali, disegni, colori, finiture e best practice di
housekeeping, offrendo così al proprio cliente
un percorso guidato per trovare la soluzione
più esclusiva in termini di gusto, personalizzazione e prezzo.
Per quanti invece desiderano l’esclusività ad
ogni costo, Rivolta Carmignani mette a disposizione il proprio Atelier dove è possibile progettare insieme al chief designer del cliente un nuovo concept, agendo su tutte le componenti del

personalizzazioni applicate o tessute, ai diversi
finissaggi fino allo studio di tecniche esclusive di
allestimento e manutenzione degli allestimenti.
