The aim is, on the one hand, to identify the basic concepts of the film from the point of view of his language (the movement, the framing, editing) and from the point of view of the forms of representation (the film concepts, the genres, the forms of narration, the characters and the stories of cinema). The course will try, through the reading of Deleuze and through visions of sequences and full-length movies, to identify the power of cinema as a form of thought and as an image of the world, tracing its theory and history. The other objective of the course is to re-examine the theoretical proposal of the French philosopher (which dates back to the second half of the eighties) in the light of contemporary cinema, of those authors and those films that have crossed the cinematic landscape of the last 25 years . Textbooks: 1) G. Deleuze, Immagine-movimento, Ubulibri, Milano 2010 2) G. Deleuze, Immagine-Tempo, Ubulibri, Milano 2010 3) R.
